About this Product

Dealing with severe scoliosis I wanted to find a way to alleviate the pain and tightness in a natural way. The moist heat hits my muscles way better than any electric heating pad I've used! Also suffering from migraines and tension headaches all the time, these have been one of the only things that help. I can use the moist heat on my neck and use the ties to apply as much pressure as I want. This is also great to use on menstrual cramps. It has a larger surface area so it is perfect for those. The rice bag measures about, 9 tall x 16" wide. Each Tie is about 26" long so this can fit up to about 60" around the body. The rice bag weighs 2lbs 8oz

With there being ties on this bag there are many many ways you can wear it and it is amazing to be able to be hands free. I, personally, love wearing mine while I do the dishes because the heat on my lower back is amazing. *Please contact for information pertaining to wholesale orders and pricing! All rice bags come ready to gift with care and use instructions! Sending directly to someone as a gift? Gift wrapping and card are available. **Hot Therapy: Deliver hot warm moist heat to stiff necks, arthritic joints, migraines, menstrual cramps, pulled or tight muscles. Directions: Fold in half and microwave on high for 1 min, pull the bag out to move the rice around and fold back in half to reheat for an additional 1 min. **Cold Therapy: Deliver cold relief to sore and tight muscles, headaches and even bug bites without messy melting ice to even the youngest user. Directions: Place in freezer for at least 1 hour.

* We only have a few fabric choices available to choose from for these but if you don't like any of the options please either put in the notes section what fabric you want from any of our other listings or send us a message. We usually can do other fabrics, we just don't always have enough on hand right away to be able to make them as fast as we would like.

Meet the Maker

Hello, my name is Danielle and I have always loved crafting. I am one of those people who loved to do something but never did it because life and work was too stressful to make time for the things you loved to do. I managed a pizza shop for over 15 years and I was great at it but I knew I needed a change. It took me a lot of struggling with daily pain and family pushing me to quit. My mother-in-law convinced me to finally leave so I could help her with her business.

I have always known I had scoliosis but didn't realize how severe it was until I had my first x-ray at 29 years old. I saw it and didn't think it was right. There was no way someone with 90 and 85 degree curves could have been doing the physical job I was doing. I was working typically 6 days a week 9-14 hours most days without breaks while being on my feet all day, so it was a shock. Fast forward to a few years later... I saw a doctor and after going through a few of them they said surgery is the only option. I went into an emotional tailspin after hearing that. Since then, I have been on my own scoliosis/life journey.

About 7 months after leaving my management job I finally got the courage to help my mother-in-law with her business. I had started helping sew and ship rice bags for her. My husband quit his job at that point to help, too. Now, we have our own website and we craft full time. We make a whole lot of different woodwork items and different rice bags. I got really big into rice bags after I actually tried one. I was making them for a good 5 months or so before I decided to try it. HOLY COW I was missing out!

Over the years I have done so many different exercises, stretches, heating pads, pain meds, and everything imaginable to try and help the pain I had from my scoliosis. I had tension headaches that were so bad they turned into migraines multiple days a week. This was the first reason I tried the rice bags, because I was desperate to find something that would help. I was AMAZED when it actually made me feel better. Since then, I have created other styles of rice bags but my favorite is the one I can tie to my chair or to myself. I wouldn’t even be able to make it through sewing all these rice bags without using that rice bag on my chair. It is a life saver for me. I can happily say I am now a rice bag addict and if you are one too, you can understand.

Being able to be home creating things I love all day to make other people happy, or to even just feel a little better, is an absolute dream come true. If you made it through reading all of this, thank you! My husband and I appreciate you checking out our shop and seeing just some of the things we do. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have, and thank you again!
