About this Product
This handmade piece is made by us from start to finish with care. We hand pick the reclaimed wood and carve our writing into it.
It is functional and would be a beautiful addition to any kitchen with your choice of stain color.
We leave the jars unpainted, too, because we know that people want to wash them from time to time.
The box is carved, sanded, stained, and sealed to make it last.
This piece has 5 jars and measures approximately 8 inches wide by 4.5 inches deep.
*** Every piece of wood is unique and different and takes stain in its own way. Which means there might be some imperfections (cracks, knots, holes, grain, etc) in the wood. This should be expected with wood and we believe this adds character and a unique look to each stove cover. We strive hard to provide high quality products, but wood grains are impossible to predict, so if perfection is something you can't live without, we do not suggest ordering these. Again we believe the imperfections add beauty and character to the piece.
***If you would like a different color or something else written on then please contact us and let us know! Or you can always put a note in the checkout page and we will contact you if we have any further questions.
-Silverware Not Included-
This one is shown in Aqua with Natural writing.

Meet the Maker
Hello, my name is Danielle and I have always loved crafting. I am one of those people who loved to do something but never did it because life and work was too stressful to make time for the things you loved to do. I managed a pizza shop for over 15 years and I was great at it but I knew I needed a change. It took me a lot of struggling with daily pain and family pushing me to quit. My mother-in-law convinced me to finally leave so I could help her with her business.
I have always known I had scoliosis but didn't realize how severe it was until I had my first x-ray at 29 years old. I saw it and didn't think it was right. There was no way someone with 90 and 85 degree curves could have been doing the physical job I was doing. I was working typically 6 days a week 9-14 hours most days without breaks while being on my feet all day, so it was a shock. Fast forward to a few years later... I saw a doctor and after going through a few of them they said surgery is the only option. I went into an emotional tailspin after hearing that. Since then, I have been on my own scoliosis/life journey.
About 7 months after leaving my management job I finally got the courage to help my mother-in-law with her business. I had started helping sew and ship rice bags for her. My husband quit his job at that point to help, too. Now, we have our own website and we craft full time. We make a whole lot of different woodwork items and different rice bags. I got really big into rice bags after I actually tried one. I was making them for a good 5 months or so before I decided to try it. HOLY COW I was missing out!
Over the years I have done so many different exercises, stretches, heating pads, pain meds, and everything imaginable to try and help the pain I had from my scoliosis. I had tension headaches that were so bad they turned into migraines multiple days a week. This was the first reason I tried the rice bags, because I was desperate to find something that would help. I was AMAZED when it actually made me feel better. Since then, I have created other styles of rice bags but my favorite is the one I can tie to my chair or to myself. I wouldn’t even be able to make it through sewing all these rice bags without using that rice bag on my chair. It is a life saver for me. I can happily say I am now a rice bag addict and if you are one too, you can understand.
Being able to be home creating things I love all day to make other people happy, or to even just feel a little better, is an absolute dream come true. If you made it through reading all of this, thank you! My husband and I appreciate you checking out our shop and seeing just some of the things we do. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have, and thank you again!
